Overview
Trip Options allow you to create multiple versions of an entire itinerary within a single trip.
Each Trip Option represents a complete variation, such as different budgets, routes, or travel styles.
Clients can pick between Trip Options in the Client Portal and Booking Flow of their trip.
When to use Trip Options
Use Trip Options when you want to:
- Offer different versions of a full trip
- Present alternatives such as:
- Budget vs luxury
- Short vs extended itinerary
- Different destinations or routes
- Compare complete trip variations within a single trip
How Trip Options work
- Each Trip Option contains a full itinerary
- You can switch between options while editing
- Changes made in one option do not affect other options
Example
You might create:
-
Option 1 – Standard trip
More affordable hotels and basic activities -
Option 2 – Luxury trip
Premium hotels, private transfers, and upgraded experiences
Each option represents a complete version of the trip.
Trip Options vs Choices
- Trip Options represent entire itinerary variations
- Choices apply to specific parts of a trip
Use Trip Options when the overall structure of the trip changes.
Use Choices when only specific items differ.
What clients see
Clients can view and select between available Trip Options.
Each option includes its own itinerary and pricing.
Tip
Use Trip Options when you need to present clearly distinct versions of a trip, rather than small variations within the same itinerary.
