How Trip Options appear to clients

Overview

Trip Options allow clients to choose between different versions of a trip.

Each option represents a complete itinerary. Once selected, the client will view and interact with that specific version of the trip.

In the itinerary

At the start of the itinerary, clients can select between available Trip Options.

  • Each option is presented as a selectable version of the trip
  • Switching options updates the entire itinerary
  • All items shown depend on the selected option

In other views

In areas such as the documents view, an option selector is also available.

  • Documents are tied to the items within a specific Trip Option
  • Switching options updates the available documents accordingly

In the booking flow

Trip Options are presented as the first step in the booking flow.

  • Clients select one Trip Option before proceeding
  • The rest of the booking flow reflects the selected option
  • Clients can go back and select a different option at any time

After selection

Once a Trip Option is selected:

  • The full itinerary for that option is applied
  • Pricing and included items are based on that option
  • All subsequent steps use the selected version of the trip

Tip

Use clear names and descriptions for each Trip Option so clients can easily understand the differences before making a selection.
