Overview
Snippets allow you to reuse content across multiple itineraries.
A Snippet is a reusable set of itinerary items that can be inserted into a trip and managed from a central library.
When to use Snippets
Use Snippets when you want to:
- Reuse the same content across multiple trips
- Maintain consistent descriptions, layouts, or item structures
- Save time when building similar itineraries
How Snippets work
- Snippets are stored in your Snippets library
- You can insert a Snippet into any itinerary
- Once inserted, the Snippet behaves like normal itinerary items
You can also:
- Create Snippets from existing itinerary content (such as a full day)
- Edit Snippets locally within a trip
- Detach Snippets to convert them into regular items
Updating Snippets
Snippets do not automatically update across all trips.
When a Snippet is updated in the library:
- Trips using that Snippet will show that an update is available
- You can choose to apply the update manually
- Applying the update may overwrite local changes
Example
You might create a Snippet for:
- A standard arrival day
- A hotel + transfer combination
- A set of commonly used activities
This Snippet can then be reused across multiple itineraries.
Important
- Snippets can be edited locally after being added to a trip
- Pricing and other changes made locally may be overwritten when applying updates from the library
- You can detach a Snippet to prevent future updates from affecting it
Tip
Use Snippets for content that you reuse often, but review updates carefully before applying them to avoid losing local changes.
