Using the text editor and formatting toolbar

    Overview

    The formatting toolbar allows you to style and structure text directly within the preview.

    It appears when you select or edit text and provides quick access to common formatting options.


    Accessing the toolbar

    1. Click into a text block, title, or description in the preview
    2. Select text or place your cursor

    The formatting toolbar will appear automatically.

    Available formatting options

    You can use the toolbar to:

    • Apply bold or italic styling
    • Create lists
    • Adjust text structure and formatting

    These options help you organize content and improve readability.

    Available editor options

    While within the text editor you can:

    • Use common shortcuts to enable bold and italic styling
    • Create lists by starting lines with a dash (-) or numbering (1.)
    • Insert images by pasting them directly into the editor

    Extended toolbar

    You can enable additional formatting options:

    1. Open Settings > Preferences
    2. Enable the extended editing toolbar
    3. Click "Save Changes" and refresh TripZILLA for the changes to take effect

    This provides access to more advanced formatting controls, such as the ability to add tables, links and media.



    Result

    Your content is styled directly in the preview, allowing you to refine the layout and presentation without leaving the editing view.
