Appearance in PDF exports

Overview

Your itinerary can be exported as a PDF using the selected theme and appearance settings.

The PDF reflects the same content as your itinerary, formatted for print.

How appearance is applied

The PDF uses:

  1. Selected theme
Defines the layout and structure of the document
  2. Colors and branding
Applies your base color, accent color, logo, and contact details
  3. Content and images
Includes your itinerary items, descriptions, and media

PDF-specific settings

You can configure certain elements specifically for the PDF:

  1. Front cover
You can set a separate front cover for the PDF export
  2. Print layout
The layout is optimized for page-based output

Previewing the PDF layout

You can preview how your itinerary will appear in PDF format:

  1. Open the Edit view
  2. Switch the preview mode to Print
  3. Within the preview, you can click into titles and descriptions to edit them directly

This allows you to review layout, spacing, and content before exporting.

PDF front cover

In some cases, you may want to use a different front cover for the PDF than for the live itinerary.

To set a separate PDF cover:

  1. Open the Edit view
  2. Switch to Appearance
  3. Open the Cover section
  4. Scroll down to Print Cover
  5. Click Select Cover and choose a cover

The selected cover will be used only for the PDF export.

Exporting the PDF

You can export the PDF from the trip:

  1. Go to Publish → Export PDF

Clients can also export their own PDF from the client portal.

This can be disabled in the trip settings if needed.

Result

You get a professionally formatted document that matches your itinerary’s structure and branding.

Tip

Always check the Print preview before exporting to ensure content fits well across pages.
