Overview
A trip in TripZILLA follows a simple flow: you build it, refine it, share it with your client, and receive their selections.
Understanding this flow helps you use the platform more effectively.
Step 1: Build the itinerary
Start by creating your trip and adding content:
- Add days and itinerary items
- Organize the structure
- Use features like Choices and Trip Options where needed
Step 2: Customize appearance
Adjust how the trip looks for your client:
- Select a theme
- Set colors and branding
- Add a front cover and day covers
- Use inline editing to refine titles and descriptions
Step 3: Publish the trip
Once your itinerary is ready:
- Publish the trip to make it available to clients
- Review the preview to ensure everything looks correct
Step 4: Share with your client
Send the trip to your client:
- Share the itinerary link
- Or export and send a PDF
Your client can now view the trip in the client portal.
Step 5: Client reviews and selects options
Clients interact with the trip:
- View the itinerary
- Select Trip Options (full trip variations)
- Select Choices (specific items such as hotels or activities)
- Review documents and details
Step 6: Client reviews pricing
Clients can review the price summary:
- See the total price based on their selections
- Review included items and optional add-ons
- Understand the full cost before continuing
Step 7: Client submits the booking
When ready, the client submits the booking form:
- Their selections are included
- Responses are sent to the assigned team member
Step 8: (Optional) Client completes payment
You can allow clients to pay directly through the platform:
- Payments can be included as part of the booking flow
- Clients can complete payment after submitting their selections
This step is optional and depends on your setup.
Step 9: Continue handling the trip
After submission (and payment, if applicable):
- Review client responses
- Follow up with the client
- Finalize bookings and arrangements
Result
You move from building a trip to delivering a client-ready experience, and finally to receiving structured client input and optional payment.
Tip
Use this workflow as a guide, but adapt it to your process depending on how you work with clients.
